mini:licious launch party at citibabes

This past Sunday, January 26th, I hosted a launch party to introduce mini:licious to my haute NYC mommies/daddies. Thanks to Citibabes for sponsoring the space, I was able to throw a party in the heart of Soho. The 1500 square foot indoor playground was perfect for all the minis to play in while the adults mingle and eat in the cafe area. All the delicious food was sponsored by my friend Chris Wong from Breakroom. Everyone had food coma after eating all the comfort food, so good! If you haven’t been to Breakroom, definitely check it out the next time you’re in Chinatown.

I was also happy to have Kris Shum from Kakes by Krisota make a 3D fondant cake for the party, the cake came out really good. And of course it came complete with a pair of baby Jordan 5 ‘Bel-Air’ kicks! Kris is really good, that cake was everything, thanks for sponsoring the cake!

The dessert table got us all into a sugar high thanks to: Baked by Melissa for all the yummy mini cupcakes, Treat House for all the delicious treats and last but not least the cute teddy bear cookies made by Fab Made Chic. All the minis kept hydrated with Vita Coco Kids drinks and snacked on Pop Chips and the famous New Kam Hing sponge cakes.

I was so happy to hang out with my haute mommy/daddy friends and their babies, some of which are new and old friends. It’s hard to get together with them since they have their hands full with their kid(s). Despite the cold, I had 20 families come through to celebrate! I wish I could of captured every moment but after hosting these parties I know how difficult it is to get a good shot of a kid, they move too fast ha!

Last but not least, how can my guests leave without fabulous gift bags for their little ones? Big thanks to my sponsors: Haddad Brands, New Era and Shea Moisture! Thanks to you all for a successful event.

Party planning is very stressful and overwhelming but when it comes to fruition, it’s actually very satisfying to see the party come to life. But the best feeling is seeing all the guests enjoy the party. I’m so happy that I went through with the NYC launch party for mini:licious, it was worth all the stress! Oh also, I don’t have any kids yet, in case you were wondering!
